Futurey, Sci-Fi Tech is Fun
I get excited whenever I see new "the future is now" tech coming down the pipes. For example, electronic paper is being developed by several companies which would let the video newspapers from Harry Potter become a reality. Speaking of Harry Potter, invisibility cloaks are also a hot topic right now in research fields. Need a replicator ala Star Trek? They're commercially available in the form of 3D printers. And, finally, the reason for the journal, how many have been aching for gesture based computer controls ever since Minority Report came out?
Well, they're making that too. It's called Leap Motion and if it's half as good as the te

I'm working on writing something again and by that I mean I'm rewriting/editing a story fragment I wrote ages ago. Not really sure what it will turn into though. Right now it's just the musings and ramblings of a character I don't know much about. I'm hoping to eventually turn it into something worth a damn. We shall see. Yeah, me either.
About Productivity or Lack Thereof
Okay, first and foremost, I have a webcomic I need to pimp. It's called The Book of Nosferatu. It's done by a good friend of mine whom I've known for years. She's a hell of an artist (if she has a dA account, I don't know what it is), and her work on this webcomic shows it. The first chapter is out already, and there's already zombies, magic, sword fights, and two ass-kicking sisters. So, needless to say, there's enough there to get you hooked if you check it out. Or rather when you check it out. Which you'll do. Now.
So, now that that's out of the way, I was looking through my gallery today, lamenting the lack of new material (if on
